The starting point of the boat trip is the Information Point by Mraconia Bay. From there is a wonderful view of the Statue of Decebalus (the last ruler of the Dacians). It is the largest stone sculpture in Europe with a height of 55m. Further on, the route passes by the narrowest point of the Romanian Danube - a section with a length of about 9km and a width of only 230m. The place is known as the Little and Big Cauldrons, and there are informational signs about them along the way. At the end, the path reaches the Veterani Cave and the entrance to the Ponicova Cave.
