Location: in the center of Varshets
In 1910, the first state mineral bath was built in Varshets. Dr. Damyan Ivanov - the first balneologist in Bulgaria - was appointed as its manager. The first staff of the mineral baths consists of 3 people - a manager, a host and a driver. The building was built in the likeness of the bathhouse in the Western European resort of Baden-Baden at that time. The plinth made of red stone and the style of the windows in the late Secession style make a special impression. The two lateral columns of the front part resemble pseudo-towers. The outside of the building is decorated by the famous Prof. Haralampi Genchev, who also designed the "Vrana" palace at the time. The facade is decorated with a two-row wreath of olive branches.
